Question:

I am installing a system. Why do some DARTs work well and some work erratically?

Answer:

Be sure all the DARTs have correct address switch settings. If, by chance, two DARTs have the same address, then one will "step" on the other, giving very erratic results. It is easy to determine where the problem is by unplugging portions of the COM line and observing the host computers display.
